Rules and Regulations

The United States DanceSport Championships® are conducted under the rules and regulations governing competitions and championships recognized by the National Dance Council of America, Inc. Some of the NDCA rules that directly apply to amateur competitors, along with additional rules applied by the organizer follow:

Utah Highshcool Team match Rules

The High School Championship will be held March 12th, 2004 at approx. 7:00 p.m. at the Marriott Activity Center.
The rehearsal for "entrances"is scheduled to take place following the conclusion of Thursday evening's events.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Competitors must adhere to the costume standards set forth on the Amateur entry forms.
2. Each highschool will be prepared with six couples and six dances
am waltz- am swing- int tango - int quickstep - int cha-cha - int samba
3. All dances in the team match are closed syllabus (Bronze, Silver or Gold).
4. Each couple may only compete in one dance.
4. Competitors must be enrolled and participating in the highschool dance program of the school that they are representing.
